Project Details

Ross Prairie Elementary is a 115,000 SF, two-story Hepner Architects prototype featuring a jumbo brick façade, delivered on a fast-tracked 14-month construction schedule. The project included a complete greenfield sitework package with full site infrastructure and stormwater systems, as well as off-site improvements such as county utility connections and a new turn lane for site access. Portions of the building were constructed to meet EHPA (Enhanced Hurricane Protection Area) standards, complete with a generator and automatic transfer switch (ATS), ensuring resiliency and life safety. In addition, the site required protected species relocation prior to construction, demonstrating our team’s ability to manage environmental coordination alongside aggressive schedule and quality goals. The project was delivered on time and under budget, with returned savings to the District pending final accounting.
