Elementary School A was handed over for student occupancy on August 3, 2008. This 116,000 sf New Elementary School under one roof, with support buildings for the PE Facility and Chiller Yard. This was the first new school built by the School Board of Highlands County in over 20 years and was completed on time and within budget. The projected usage is for Kindergarten and Elementary Classrooms as well as ESE Classrooms. This project is a one story building with CMU construction, light gauge metal trusses and a metal roof.
