Rebecca Smith, President of The A.D. Morgan Corporation as well as a Member of the prestigious Committee of 200, an international business Women’s Organization was invited as a speaker to the recent STEM event at the University of Florida.   She was a speaker and panel member along with other influential business women. The Conference: “Transforming the Future as Women” was focused on young women in the MBA and PhD programs in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.   “The Value of Diversity and Inclusion in STEM”.  They discussed topics on leadership, diversity, and success for women in the business world.

Madeline Sciullo, a second year PhD student studying Electrical Engineering, was quoted saying,

Rebecca Smith’s commanding charismatic presence demonstrated what a strong female business leader embodies. Her leadership accounts of her business experience were most inspiring when she described how she would and has stood up for every employee within her company and her strong belief in total respect and equality for all.”

Rebecca and the other women on the panel are made up of members for the Committee of 200 which is a membership organization of the world’s most successful women entrepreneurs and corporate innovators. C200 has more than 400 members who collectively generate more than $1.4 trillion in annual revenues.   The Committee of 200 Foundation’s mission is to fund, create, and implement programs to inspire, support, foster, celebrate, and advance future generations of women business leaders around the world.  Reaching more than 12,000 students at more than 50 business schools, colleges, and high schools worldwide.  These events connect MBA and PhD students from around the world with C200 members to inform, inspire, and support their future business careers.

Sciullo goes on to say,

The A.D. Morgan Corporation has been selected to be the Construction Manager for the New Zephyrhills Community Library project. Originally planned for renovation, the existing library will now be replaced by a new 8,200 square foot facility to serve at the heart of the City of Zephyrhills. Construction is planned to be completed in Mid-2014.

This Facility offers students state-of-the-art automotive repair training with new equipment and first class technical instruction. A.D. Morgan is proud to have delivered this project to the Students attending Wesley Chapel H.S. and Pasco County Schools.

The A.D. Morgan Corporation has been selected as the #1 ranked Design/Build Team for the new State Street Parking Garage Project for the City of Sarasota, FL. This Facility will be located in the downtown district and shall reflect multi-use components including parking, retail and potentially housing. Completion of the Project is scheduled for Dec. of 2014.
