City of Zephyrhills Community Library

The A.D. Morgan Corporation has been selected to be the Construction Manager for the New Zephyrhills Community Library project. Originally planned for renovation, the existing library will now be replaced by a new 8,200 square foot facility to serve at the heart of the City of Zephyrhills. Construction is planned to be completed in Mid-2014.

This Facility will be located in the downtown district and shall reflect multi-use components including parking, retail and potentially housing. Completion of the Project is scheduled for Dec. of 2014.

A.D. Morgan Corporation’s Cocoa Office is currently building the new Brevard County Clerk of Courts Archives Building and Tax Collector Facility in Titusville, Florida. Designed by Stottler Stagg and Associates, the project budget is just over $3.8 million for both buildings including site work. Construction of the new facility began on September 15, 2008 and is anticipated to be substantially completed by April 13, 2009. The project is currently 35% complete with roofing being installed on both buildings. The team of David Perley, George Wall and Sandy Acevedo are working hard to keep the project slightly ahead of schedule. Through A.D. Morgan’s extensive data base for subcontractors, this project has over 65% of them from within Brevard County.

We are currently working on this 33,000 sf Classroom Addition to existing High School. This building is a new prototype designed by Furr & Wegman now being utilized in Highlands County. The projected usage is for High School Classrooms as well as Science Demonstration Classrooms. This project is a two story building with CMU construction, bar joists and decking between floors and light gauge metal trusses with insulation and a metal roof.

Elementary School A was handed over for student occupancy on August 3, 2008. This 116,000 sf New Elementary School under one roof, with support buildings for the PE Facility and Chiller Yard. This was the first new school built by the School Board of Highlands County in over 20 years and was completed on time and within budget. The projected usage is for Kindergarten and Elementary Classrooms as well as ESE Classrooms. This project is a one story building with CMU construction, light gauge metal trusses and a metal roof.
